Student Worship Pastor
Michael is excited to serve as the Student Worship Leader at Langston Baptist Church and is thankful for the opportunity to minister in the community he has always called home. Having grown up in the Myrtle Beach area and at Langston Baptist Church, it is a special joy for him to return and serve the church that played such an important role in his spiritual growth.
Michael graduated from Anderson University with a B.M in Worship Leadership in 2024 and a Master of Ministry Degree in 2026. Michael has served in worship ministry across South Carolina by serving on staff at Anderson University before being called back to Langston Baptist Church.
Michael and his wife, Caitlyn, met while attending Anderson University and married in 2024. She is also from the Myrtle Beach area. Caitlyn graduated with a degree in Commercial Music in 2024 and enjoys using her gifts to serve the church and support ministry. Together they are passionate about investing in people and helping others grow in their walk with Christ.
When not at church, Michael enjoys making music, drinking good coffee, and spending time with family and friends.
