BETH LAY
Nursery and Preschool Coordinator
Beth Lay is excited and grateful to serve as the Nursery and Preschool Coordinator for Langston Baptist Church’s Kids Ministry. Having grown up in church and been a follower of Christ since the age of 16, serving the Lord through the local church has always been an important part of her life and faith journey.
She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from MUSC and has dedicated more than 20 years to caring for children as a pediatric nurse. In addition, she has served as an adjunct faculty member at Francis Marion University’s College of Nursing.
Her passion for caring for children extends beyond her profession and into her ministry, where she views nurturing and supporting young lives as a meaningful way to serve God. She also serves as co-leader of Langston Baptist Church’s volunteer Medical Team.
When she is not working or serving, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Gordon, and their two sons, Grant and Drew.
